This stunning pounamu necklace, a perfect example of traditional Māori jewellery, is carved from pounamu (greenstone).

The Hook design symbolises the ability to attract good fortune and is believed to offer protection for safe journeys over water.

The necklace is strung on a braided black wax cord with adjustable sliding knots to customise the pendant’s length. Each necklace is supplied loose in a plastic sleeve, and slight variations in design occur due to the individual hand-carving process, making each piece unique.

Ideal as a gift or New Zealand souvenir.

Pounamu (Greenstone) - Our Pounamu carvings are handmade and carved individually, slight variations might occur.

Shipping

Orders typically take 1 - 3 days to be prepared for delivery. Once they are packed and ready for collection, a courier driver will collect and scan on shipping label. An automated email confirming the collection will be sent out to the email address entered during checkout.

 

Standard delivery time within NZ is 2 business days but this may be impacted by Covid-19 restrictions. International shipping times vary by location.
